Raylee’s 1 year portrait session took place on a beautiful day right outside of Cedar Rapids in one of my favorite locations! Raylee’s session was rained out 3 times before we finally were able to get together for this shoot. I told her mom after we kept getting rained out that there was a reason why we kept getting rained out and that this session was going to be perfect when we finally got a sunny day. Boy was I right! Not only was it a beautiful evening but Raylee stood up for the first time unassisted! Everything happens for a reason and I’m thankful for those rainy days so I could capture this moment for her mom and dad.
